Production Begins at CO2 Free Vehicle Production Line

According to Volvo Trucks, its factory in Ghent will be the first vehicle factory in the world that is totally carbon dioxide free, thanks to an on-site wind-farm and a biomass production facility that cover most of the energy needs for the plant.
E.ON Developing Giant Battery

E.ON UK is researching and developing a 'groundbreaking giant battery', equivalent to 10 million AA batteries, that will be able to store energy in a move which could unlock the full potential of renewable energy and micro generation.
