Green Alliance for an EU Budget for Climate Security

On the eve of the Intergovernmental Conference meeting in Lisbon on the future of the controversial EU Treaty, the Green Alliance has launched a pamphlet in Brussels, 'Investing in our future: a European budget for climate security', demanding that climate change is put at the heart of the EU Budget.

While the UN has been thrashing out climate change mitigation options in Vienna this week, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council will host its own climate change summit on Friday 14 September.
