Mayor Scraps £25 Congestion Charge

The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, has ended proposals for the CO2 Charge, which would have charged owners of large cars £25 a day to drive in the Central London Congestion Charge zone. The High Court has now confirmed that the paper work necessary to end the proposal has been completed and the CO2 charge is no more.

Porsche Threatens Court Action against London Major

Porsche Cars Great Britain has announced its intention to make an application for judicial review of the proposed extension in the London congestion charge, which will see the cost of driving some cars in the capital rise from £8.00 a day to £25.00 a day.
