According to a Harris Interactive study, more than one-quarter (27%) of US vehicle owners say they are likely (13%), very likely (8%) or extremely likely (6%) to include plug-in hybrid engine technology in their next vehicle.

The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) and the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) has just released a comprehensive assessment that finds that widespread use of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) in the United States could reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and potential for improved ambient air quality.
