M&S to Charge for Food Carrier Bags Across UK

Marks & Spencer is to roll-out a 5p charge for food carrier bags in all of its UK stores from the beginning of May to encourage customers to reduce the number of bags they use and to raise money for environmental projects.

Recycling Recycled Milk Bottles

The first ever UK-wide recycled content HDPE (High-density polyethylene, a petroleum based product) bottle will be available from next year, following a landmark agreement between Nampak Plastics Europe and Closed Loop London.
