New York's Yellow Cabs Go Green

New York City's yellow taxi fleet will go entirely 'green' within five years. New York's Mayor, Michael Bloomberg, announced a plan to increase the number of hybrid taxis to 1,000 by October 2008, and then by about 20% each year until every yellow cab will be a hybrid.
