The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, today joined Sky Sports News presenter Georgie Thompson and cyclists from across London to launch the capital's Summer of Cycling, which aims to encourage more Londoners to take to their bikes.

First Motorway Car Share Lane in UKTuesday, 21st August 2007, 1:31 pm
A scheme for building the first motorway car share Lane linking the southbound M606 to the eastbound M62 at the Chain Bar junction is due to go ahead in September and is timed to be completed in early 2008.
