Print articleTo enter, all you have to do is write to the council and tell them how much waste you recycle each week. They want to know about how you separate your waste and how the whole family gets involved.
The winning family will receive a free six-month Lifestyle Family Membership at one of the council's three leisure centres, which will entitle the winning family anytime access to all equipment and pools, badminton, squash and tennis courts.
Paul Sample, Salisbury District Council Leader, will be judging the entries and picking the winner.
He said: ?The purpose of this competition is to highlight what good recycling is all about. Our winning family will be people for whom recycling is second nature who rarely throw out waste for landfill. We want to praise the people who are shining lights at recycling and hope others follow their good example.?
If you think you could be south Wiltshire's best recycling family, write up to 250 words on why you think you are the best, explaining how you recycle and how much you recycle. Photos showing your recycling abilities can also be submitted if you wish. Closing date is 16 July 2007.
